Chris Pratt May Appear In Thor: Love and Thunder

While Marvel didn’t announce Guardians of the Galaxy 3 at the recent San Diego Comic-Con or the D23 Expo, Chris Pratt teases we will see him sometime before the movie’s release.

MTV caught up with Chris Pratt at the D23 Expo, and when asked if we’ll see Peter Quill before Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Pratt replied with a big smile on his face, “I know the answer to that, but I can’t tell you.”

Chris Pratt possibly a part of Marvel Phase 4

Last we saw of Star-Lord was at the end of The Avengers: Endgame when he and the rest of the Guardians were going to go search for Gamora, but they happened to pick up another passenger as Chris Hemsworth’s Thor seemingly joined the team.

Hemsworth has already been said to be a part of Guardians of the Galaxy 3, so perhaps Chris Pratt and the Guardians will appear in Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder as well.

James Gunn has confirmed that Guardians of the Galaxy 3 takes place after Thor: Love and Thunder, so somehow they will have to fit in the end of The Avengers: Endgame with Thor going off into space with the Guardians, with both Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and Thor: Love and Thunder (maybe as they are out in space, Thor gets a call from Jane Foster or something and heads back to Earth leaving the Guardians behind).

Another possibility could be the Disney Plus What If? series as an episode is an alternate version of the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie with footage revealing a black Star-Lord.

Checking over Marvel’s Phase 4 plans, I suppose Chris Pratt and the Guardians could always appear in the Eternals movie, which is cosmic oriented. Another possibility could also be Doctor Strange 2 which delves into the multiverse.

On a side note, James Gunn looks to be casting Taikia Waititi in his DC Suicide Squad flick.

Thor: Love and Thunder gets released November 5, 2021; Guardians of the Galaxy 3 has no release date as of yet.
