Yesterday saw a rumor hit the net stating Ben Affleck would no longer be playing Batman following the Justice League movie.
However, now with the release of the new Justice League trailer at Comic-Con, Ben Affleck has shot down the rumor.
In the video below from the Comic-Con panel, Affleck says,â Let me be very clear. Batman is the coolest part in any fân universe, DC, Marvel. Itâs incredible. Iâm so thrilled to do it. I know there is a misconception because I wasnât directing that I wasnât enthusiastic, itâs fân amazing. I still canât believe it after two films to have this history with this great studio. Kevin Tsujihara and Sue Kroll and Toby Emerich said to me, âWe want you to be our Batmanâ and I believe them. Matt Reeves doing it, itâs like âI would be a fân ape on the ground for Matt Reeves.â Nevermind being Batman, Itâs incredible. So Iâm really blown away and excited, and itâs a great time in the DC universe. You are going to see some stuff from Justice League that weâre really, really proud of. I think youâll see why Iâm so excited to be Batman.â
Ezra Miller then added, âDonât believe the hype, people. Donât believe the hype.â
Ben Affleck next appears as Batman in Novemberâs Justice League.
