Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Legends Crossover Will Be A Civil War

While Marvel had their Captain America: Civil War on the big screen, and DC had their Batman Vs. Superman, it’s learned The CW DC TV universe will have a civil war of their own with the upcoming crossover featuring Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow.

The latest issue of EW features a cover sporting the “super friends” with details on the upcoming crossover, inspired by the DC Comics Invasion! graphic novel that sees the aliens known as the Dominators make war with Earth over metahumans.

Update: The actors talks which heroes they would pick for Team Arrow, Team Flash, Team Supergirl and more in a new featurette.

Update #2: First look images have been released.

Update #3: First look footage has been released.

Details include:

• The crossover will begin with the final scene of the Monday, November 28th episode of Supergirl.

• The next parts of the crossover continue to the following Tuesday night on The Flash, Wednesday night on Arrow, and Thursday on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (note: Stephen Amell did state the crossover will be five episodes, so it’s possible the final part of the crossover may not air until the next episode of Supergirl).

• The crossover will see The Flash and Cisco tearing a hole in the fabric of space-time.

• A character will get shot.

• The Dominators are described as mind-controlling extraterrestrials.

The Dominators feel threatened by the Earth because of the Earth’s surging population of metahumans.

• The Dominators use mind-control to cause the superheroes to fight one another:

“we’re totally going to see these superheroes fight each other,” then you’re absolutely [REDACTED].

• Characters confirmed for the crossover (note: these were the ones seen on set that day by EW; more characters will be a part of the crossover):

– From Arrow: Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen), David Ramsey (Diggle/Spartan), Willa Holland (Thea Queen/Speedy) and Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak).

– From The Flash: Grant Gustin (Barry Allen), Candice Patton (Iris West), Tom Cavanagh (H.R. Wells), Danielle Panabaker (Dr. Caitlin Snow) and Carlos Valdes (Cisco/Vibe).
