No Vin Diesel For Black Bolt Inhumans TV Series Says James Gunn

Marvel TV recently announced a new Inhumans TV series, with the first two episodes screening in IMAX theaters.

As Vin Diesel has teased playing Black Bolt on more than one occasion for the Marvel Studios Inhumans movie, will Vin Diesel be playing Black Bolt in the Inhumans TV series?

That’s probably not going to happen.

A fan asked James Gunn on Facebook if Vin Diesel is going to play Black Bolt with Gunn responding as follows.

ā€œThe Inhumans is going to be a TV show. Unless Vin wants to take a huge pay cut and sign up to do a TV show it seems unlikely,ā€ Gunn responded.

Gunn’s response also seems to indicate that a Marvel Studios Inhumans movie will not be happening as he says Inhumans ā€œis going to be a TV show.ā€

James Gunn also offered a while back that Marvel Studios and Marvel TV are disconnected, which further backs up claims that no Inhumans Marvel movie is happening.

Vin Diesel will be back as the voice of Groot in Gunn’s ā€œGuardians of the Galaxy 2,ā€ out May 5, 2017.
