No Hayden Christensen & Han Solo For Star Wars: Rogue One

With Darth Vader confirmed for Star Wars: Rogue One, it’s been rumored more than a few times that Hayden Christensen might be in the movie in some form.

Disney’s Kathleen Kennedy shoots down the rumor.

ā€œNo. That is not true,ā€ Kennedy told Extra. ā€œNo. I can confirm that. He is not.ā€

Likewise, it’s also been said that Han Solo might be appearing in Star Wars: Rogue One as his younger self, possibly played by Alden Ehrenreich, who will be starring in the upcoming Han Solo movie. That’s not happening, either.

ā€œI’m not sure if I’m allowed to do this, but I think I should. I can put to bed Han Solo is not in the movie,ā€ director Gareth Edwards said.

Edwards also wouldn’t talk about another rumor that says Star Wars: Rogue One ends ten minutes before A New Hope begins.

ā€œI can’t talk about things like that,ā€ Edwards said with a smile.

ā€œStar Wars: Rogue Oneā€ has a December 16, 2016 release directed by Gareth Edwards starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, who plays a performance-capture character in Rogue One, and Riz Ahmed.

Synopsis:

Rogue One tells the story of resistance fighters who have united to steal plans to the dreaded Death Star.
