Bradley Cooper & Jared Leto Tried Out For Green Lantern

Bradley Cooper offers new details about trying out for the 2011 Green Lantern movie, with the part going to Ryan Reynolds.

It’s probably a safe bet to say that Bradley Cooper dodged a bullet, but Cooper offers trying out for Green Lantern led him to having a strong relationship with WB’s Sue Kroll.

A reporter for THR tweeted out:

Bradley Cooper talks GREEN LANTERN audition: Sue Kroll called him to give the bad news he wasn’t going to get the job.

He knew that his asymmetrical face and the mask were issues. But he appreciated the call. And it started a long relationship with her.

Cooper also mentions that Jared Leto was one of those that auditioned for Green Lantern with him and Reynolds.

While Bradley Cooper is providing the voice of Rocket Raccoon for Marvel in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy, perhaps there is still room in the DCEU for Cooper. WB is relaunching GL with the Green Lantern Corps movie, maybe Bradley Cooper could play Hal Jordan this time around?
