With Tyler Hoechlin joining Supergirl Season 2 as Superman, now it’s revealed that not only will Metropolis be featured in the series, but possibly Lex Luthor as well.
Melissa Benoist’s Kara Danvers is located in National City and apparently will visit her cousin Kal-El in his hometown.
New set images on Twitter out of Vancouver reveal Metropolis PD and emergency response vehicles as well as a Luthor Corp logo and banners.
Lex Luthor has not yet been cast for Supergirl, and I’m also beginning to wonder if they could be getting a new Superman spinoff TV series eventually.

Update: Lena Luthor, Lex’s sister, has been cast in Supergirl Season 2.
