Logan Image Confirms Richard E. Grant’s Character

The official wponx Instagram account has posted a new pic of Richard E. Grant in Logan and revealed his character.

Richard E. Grant is playing Zander Rice in the third Wolverine movie.

In the comics, Zander Rice, aka Dr. Rice, is the son of a doctor that worked on the original Weapon X program whom Wolverine killed while escaping. This greatly impacted the life of Zander Rice who went on to try and recreate the Weapon X program, which saw him disagree with another doctor over the creation of X-23, a cloned female Wolverine. Zander Rice was responsible for successfully putting X-23 through the Weapon X process in which he tortured her to get revenge over his father’s death.

Details for the Logan movie include Wolverine’s healing factor isn’t what it used to be; Wolverine’s abilities aren’t what they once were; Wolverine is in constant pain, and Wolverine drinks a lot.

“Logan,” has a March 3, 2017 release directed by James Mangold starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Stephen Merchant, Doris Morgado,  Eriq La Salle and Dafne Keen as X-23.
