While doing press for his new Netflix series, Frontier, Jason Momoa takes part in a fan Q&A about Aquaman and the Justice League movie.
Regarding who did the most extreme stunts on Justice League:
“I’d say me,” Momoa replied.
When asked to describe Zack Snyder in one word: “Genius.”
What does Jason Momoa think about James Wan directing Aquaman?
“I haven’t worked with him yet,” Momoa said. “Sweet, man. I’ve met him, but […] he’s a man, and he’s really cool.”
How does Momoa feel about playing Aquaman in the solo film?
“Stoked. Just having a standalone movie, my standalone Aquaman movie, I’m really pumped about it. I start in four or five months, so a little bit of rest and then back into it,” Momoa said.
And on Justice League:
“Justice League was amazing, but it’s gonna be fun to have the arc and talk about this guy’s backstory and where he’s going,” Jason Momoa offered.
Momoa is also asked who would win in a fight between Aquaman, his Game of Thrones’ character Khal Drago and Frontier‘s Declan Harp.
”Do they have their weapons? They all have their weapons? It’s Aquaman,” Momoa said. “I think they’d all just get together and have some beers, really, I mean they’re all pretty cool dudes. Just hang out, have a couple of beers, go beat up everyone else. Three stooges.”
Frontier comes out January 20th with Momoa stating it’s about him wrapped in fur and covered in blood killing English men.
Justice League hits November 17, 2017, with Aquaman out on October 5, 2018.
