The original cast of the Power Rangers will not be a part of the upcoming movie.

Original Black Power Ranger actor Walter Jones offered the news in a podcast.

“It’s not likely. Unfortunately, we were not invited to be part of the film, which is confusing to me, but I’m excited about the film nevertheless,” Jones said.

The new cast for the Power Rangers movie consists of:  Becky G as Trini, the Yellow Ranger; RJ Cyler as Billy, the Blue Ranger; Naomi Scott as Kimberly, the Pink Ranger; Ludi Lin as Zack, the Black Ranger; Dacre Montgomery as Jason, the Red Ranger, and Elizabeth Banks stars as the villain, Rita Repulsa, with Bryan Cranston as Zordon.
