Joss Whedon at the Red Carpet Premiere For Guardians of the Galaxy 2!

This past Monday saw Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige comment on Joss Whedon directing the Batgirl movie for the DCEU and WB.

Feige offered up that Joss Whedon had given him a call about doing Batgirl.

“He called. A couple months ago, which he didn’t have to do and was super cool of him and super nice of him. And we couldn’t be more supportive. We want to see a Joss Whedon Batgirl film be awesome,” Feige told THR.

Now further evidence that Feige and Marvel really want to see an awesome Batgirl movie comes from tonight’s Red Carpet premiere for Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

Yep! None other than Joss Whedon was in attendance. So we do see everything really is good between Marvel Studios and Joss Whedon, who took a break following The Avengers 2 and now returns to direct, write and producer Batgirl, said to feature Barbara Gordon, for WB.
