Looks like the black Superman costume is a sure thing for the Justice League movie.
Henry Cavill took to Instagram to show off an up-close look tagging the picture with “#Superman.”
In the comics, following the “Death Of Superman” DC Comics storyline, the Man of Steel returned with a black costume.
I wonder how they will explain the black costume in the Justice League movie? In the comics, Superman was brought back to life through Kryptonian technology, with the indirect help of the Eradicator. Maybe something similar?
Interestingly enough, Man of Steel gave us a glimpse of the black Superman costume in that Superman and Zod nightmare scene. Check out concept art below for that.
“Justice League” has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe as an Atlantean.
