Sarah Michelle Gellar ‘Star Wars Rebels’ Role Revealed

Earlier this week saw Sarah Michelle Gellar tease she may be playing Princess Leia in Star Wars Rebels as the actress confirmed an appearance at next week’s New York Comic-Con.

Now it turns out Gellar will not be joining the ranks of the Jedi, but the exact opposite — The Dark Side.

Buzz Feed posted an interview with Sarah Michelle Gellar which revealed she is voicing the Seventh Sister Inquisitor, described as a cunning and crafty villain that tracks down the rebels and captures the Jedi by using any number of tools in her armament, including Mimic Droids, which can imitate anyone and report back to her.

Sarah Michelle Gellar will be a part of the Star Wars Rebels panel at the NYCC on Thursday, October 8th 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM | Empire Stage 1-E.
