The Crow Loses Jason Momoa

The Crow Loses Jason Momoa

A remake of The Crow once again faces multiple hurdles as it’s learned both Jason Momoa and director Corin Hardy have dropped out of the project.

It’s reported that creative differences are the reason as Jason Momoa and Corin Hardy decided to exit The Crow following Sony having exiting the film due to not being able to close a deal with the movie’s producers.

Sony was originally going to be the worldwide distributor of The Crow with the movie having an October 11, 2019 release date; however, due to creative and financial differences with Samuel Hadida, whose Davis Films holds underlying rights and who was financing the film, Sony has left, which caused Momoa and Hardy to leave.

The Crow was actually set to start filming in the next few weeks in Budapest and was in pre-production.

Jason Momoa even recently took to social media to offer up his excitement about playing The Crow as he posted images of himself with the comic book creator James O’Barr, and with director Corin Hardy.

Update: Jason Momoa reveals first look at The Crow and apologizes.
