We could be seeing the return of Jared Leto as the Joker as Leto has seemingly teased the Clown Prince of Crime on his Snapchat possibly for the Ben Affleck Batman movie.
Jared Leto posted an image of the cover to Batman The Killing Joke on Wednesday, which is similar to the photo that Suicide Squad director David Ayer posted on Twitter back in April 2015.
Jared Leto also posted a second image of what is assumed to be a Joker tooth in what looks to be Batman-related. It’s been said that Joker where’s a grill because Batman knocked out his teeth.
“This is sort of my personal thing and maybe less about a larger connection,” Suicide Squad director David Ayer previously offered. “But Joker killed Robin, and Batman basically smashes his teeth out and locks him up in Arkham Asylum. It’s in the asylum where Joker would have done the ‘damaged’ tattoo as a message to Batman saying, ‘You’ve damaged me. I was so beautiful before and now you’ve destroyed my face.’ That’s where the grill comes from.”
It’s also possible Jared Leto could be teasing a return as Joker for the Margot Robbie Harley Quinn Gotham City Sirens movie, or maybe even Suicide Squad 2, which is said to be in development.
