Watch a deleted scene from the Logan movie which references Sabretooth! They really should have kept this one in!
The scene features a young mutant asking if Sabretooth is real, which sort of references Logan earlier in the film telling X-23 that the X-Men/comics were fake.
I remember Hugh Jackman asking fans what they wanted to see most in his last Wolverine film with one of the requests being a Wolverine vs Sabretooth battle.
Liv Schreiber, the Sabretooth actor from X-Men: Origins Wolverine, almost had a cameo in Logan, but it was cut.
The scene was going to reveal Logan, Professor Xavier and X-23 on the run where they go to the gambling town and go find Sabretooth asking for help.
“There was an invitation early on from Hugh [Jackman] and [James Mangold] and I would have loved to work on it,” Schreiber told Variety in an interview for his film Chuck. “It was very difficult given [TV series] Ray Donovan’s schedule, and I think they went a different direction as well with story.”
