Ethan Hawke Returning For The Black Phone 2

One of the better horror movies released as of late is getting a sequel as Scott Derrickson’s The Black Phone 2 is announced with Ethan Hawke and the cast returning for the next installment.

Scott Derrickson directed Marvel’s Doctor Strange but due to “creative differences” exited The Multiverse Of Madness.

So while he didn’t do the Doctor Strange sequel, came up with the horror thriller The Black Phone with C. Robert Cargill.

Details for The Black Phone 2 include Ethan Hawke, Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, Jeremy Davies, and Miguel Mora are set to return for the sequel.

Derrickson and Cargill are also back writing and are producing with Blumhouse’s Jason Blum.

The first film brought in over $161 million in 2021 and is listed on Deadline‘s most profitable movies.
