Following the recent extended look, now Lionsgate has released a new Ballerina trailer starring Anna de Armas, teasing the rules and consequences of the film which is set in the world of John Wick.
Keanu Reeves also returns as the super assassin; Ballerina is set in the same timeline as John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.

What is Ballerina about?
Ballerina is a spin-off of the John Wick franchise, set during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. The film follows Eve Macarro (played by Ana de Armas), a young assassin in training with the Ruska Roma, the same underground organization that trained John Wick.
As Eve undergoes intense physical and mental conditioning in the brutal traditions of the Ruska Roma, she begins to carve out her own path in the violent world of contract killers. The story dives deeper into the assassin underworld and expands the lore of the John Wick universe, with a focus on Eve’s origin and transformation.
Ana de Armas described the role as both exhilarating and challenging, emphasizing the demanding discipline involved in portraying a character shaped by such a harsh and unforgiving lifestyle.

Ballerina is set to debut in theaters on June 6, 2025. Len Wiseman is the director, Shay Hatten wrote the script. Producers include Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Chad Stahelski.
