Spider-Man, Venom, Morbius Exist In Same Universe

It’s confirmed that Spider-Man, Venom, Morbius, and it’s safe to say Kraven, exist all in the same universe.

However, which Spider-Man exactly remains to be seen as there is the Tom Holland version in the MCU, Andrew Garfield from the Amazing Spider-Man films, and Tobey Maguire from the Sam Raimi movies.

Cinema Blend caught up with Morbius director Daniel Espinosa and tweeted answers from a Q&A where it’s confirmed that Morbius is in the same universe as Venom, and when asked about Spider-Man, Espinosa replied, “Of course,” and said fans will find out which Spider-Man soon enough.

“Morbius lives in the same universe as Venom. This is the universe we saw Venom exit at the end of VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE and return to at the end of SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME,” confirmed Espinosa, and when asked about which Spider-Man, replied, “It is my understanding that audiences will discover the answer soon.”

The news that a version of Spider-Man, Venom, and Morbius all exist in the same universe also helps to explain the two post-credit scenes in Morbius.

Follow along below the Q&A with Morbius director Daniel Espinosa, and be wary of spoilers.
