We get a first look at Anya Taylor-Joy in George Miller’s Furiosa via Brazil’s big CCXP convention taking place this week.
It’s also confirmed the actress will be attending the Furiosa panel today at CCXP along with Chris Hemsworth and Miller. Warner Bros. is also bringing Aquaman 2, Dune 2, and Godzilla x Kong on Sunday.

What is Furiosa about?
The flick is a prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road and Anya Taylor-Joy plays the titular character played by Charlize Theron in the 2025 movie.
Chris Hemsworth plays a powerful warlord.
A description for the film offers: As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe.
Collider also says, “The prequel will present a different narrative, revealing how Immortan Joe gained influence to rally warriors against Furiosa and Max in Fury Road.“
Anya Taylor-Joy is also rumored to be playing the Silver Surfer in Marvel’s Fantastic Four.
Furiosa gets released on May 24, 2024.
