A new international spot for the upcoming Star Wars series, The Acolyte, has hit the net which shows off new footage.
The spot was released for South Korean which features an intro by Lee Jung-jae who plays Sol.
A batch of new images have also landed online. Watch below.
What is The Acolyte about?
The AcolyteĀ is set during the High Republic era and the prime of the Jedi Order.
InĀ The Acolyte, an investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg). As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seemsā¦.
The series stars Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo, and Carrie-Anne Moss.
The AcolyteĀ comes from creator and showrunner Leslye Headland (Russian Doll), who also serves as executive producer alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King, and Jason Micallef. Charmaine DeGratĆ© and Kor Adana are the co-executive producers, and Rayne Roberts and Damian Anderson are producing.
Headland also directed the premiere episodes (episodes 101 and 102). Directors Kogonada (episodes 103 and 107), Alex Garcia Lopez (episodes 104 and 105), and Hanelle Culpepper (episodes 106 and 108) round out the directing duties on the series. Michael Abels, known for his work onĀ Get OutĀ andĀ Us, scoredĀ The Acolyte.
The Acolyte premieres June 4 with the first two episodes on Disney+.
