Nobody 2 Review: Funnier, Faster, and Just as Brutal

Nobody 2 Review: Funnier, Faster, and Just as Brutal

I just got out of Nobody 2 and, as you can tell from my reaction video, I really liked it.

I’m a big fan of loner-assassin movies like John Wick. I remember going into the first Nobody with no expectations and being pleasantly surprised — similar to my experience with the first John Wick.

Bigger, Louder, Funnier

I’m happy to say Nobody 2 doesn’t disappoint. Like the Wick sequels, it comes with a bigger budget and more of everything: fights, guns, action — and laughs.

That last part is new. It’s been a few years since I saw the first Nobody, but I don’t remember it being this funny. This one’s a little goofier, and it works. The audience was laughing out loud multiple times. It’s not a copy of the first film, and that freshness pays off.

Standout Performances

Bob Odenkirk is once again great in the role, and Christopher Lloyd steals every scene he’s in. This time, Odenkirk’s David Mansell isn’t flying solo — his family is part of the action. Surprisingly, I loved that. In its own wild way, Nobody 2 almost feels like a family movie. It’s the family movie of the summer.

Strong Villains

The villains are strong, too — Sharon Stone delivers a standout performance. Wow.

Action and Choreography

The fight choreography is top-notch, paired with music choices that perfectly match the film’s tone, which again, my audience appreciated. The ending is BIG and satisfying.

Perfect Runtime

At 90 minutes, the runtime is spot-on. It’s pure entertainment: fun, fast, and no overthinking required.

The Verdict

Nobody 2 delivers exactly what action fans want — tight pacing, inventive fight scenes, and a surprising dose of humor. It’s a worthy follow-up that stands on its own and leaves you wanting a third. Rating: 9/10.
