The Flash Star Ezra Miller Making Hollywood Comeback

It’s reported that The Flash star Ezra Miller is eyeing a return to Hollywood following allegations of abuse and harassment.

Miller was recently spotted at the Cannes Film Festival and confirmed plans to reintroduce himself into the film industry. He’s currently working with Lynne Ramsay, who directed him in We Need to Talk About Kevin.

“I’m working with her again, that will likely be the first thing I do. It’s a film that her and I are writing together,” Miller said. “And I came to Cannes because she asked me to come, and if there’s anything I really still believe in in my life, it’s devotion to one’s people, one’s loved ones … above all else.”

Ezra Miller's Response To Allegations Is 'Absolute Horseshit'

Miller admitted that he “didn’t necessarily want to go to Cannes” and “had a bit of a hard time.”

“That’s a tough reentry point. If you’ve been in the woods for three years, I do not recommend going straight to Cannes,” he said. “But yeah, I did that for Lynne. I would do anything for Lynne.”

Prior to the release of The Flash, Miller found himself in the hot seat over a controversial video that showed him choking a woman. Allegations also surfaced about inappropriate behavior with young girls, and the actor was also arrested for disorderly conduct, harassment, second-degree assault, and burglary.

In an interview with Lo Speciale Giornale via YouTube, Miller reflected on that time in his life, saying: “When you work in this industry, you will find yourself in deep relation with a lot of people who do not give a single f-ck about you or your well being at all. And so, not that I don’t hold a lot of remorse or lamentation for a lot of things that I did and a lot of things that happened in that time, but I’m really grateful for the lessons that came with that abyss.”

The Flash was released in 2023 and mega-bombed at the box office, bringing in only $223 million, which was Miller’s last acting gig. Ezra Miller won’t continue as The Flash, as James Gunn is rebooting the DC universe starting this summer with his Superman movie.
