Marvel TV Head Wants Dan Ketch Ghost Rider

Marvel TV Head Wants Dan Ketch Ghost Rider

I’ve been saying this for years: Bring the Dan Ketch Ghost Rider into the MCU! Now the head of Marvel TV shares the same sentiment.

We’ve had the Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider in the Sony movies played by Nicolas Cage, and we’ve had Robbie Reyes in Agents of SHIELD.

I think it’s Dan Ketch’s turn, and if they made it like the popular ’90s comic back in the day, I think it would be a big success. The Midnight Sons could even come into play.

While promoting the release of Agatha, Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios’ Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation, was asked if he could greenlight any series, what would it be?

“I would wanna do the Danny Ketch era of Ghost Rider. I think there are a lot of people who would be here for some Ghost Rider,” he filled in Collider.

There have actually been rumors that Kevin Feige was going to go with a female Ghost Rider in the MCU to fit with Disney’s Phase 4 approach to replacing the characters with diversity, but that’s all been proven a failure.

Winderbaum’s remarks are refreshing (he has also said they are using Richard Rider Nova) as it means that hopefully Marvel sticks to the comic books and giving fans quality content.

Under the previous Marvel TV regime, the MCU shows on Disney+ led to a massive $4 billion loss for Disney. If the writing hasn’t been on the wall for years, that fans are tired off all the diversity crap, I don’t know what to tell ya.

Fans have said they want Norman Reedus to play Ghost Rider. That would be pretty wild.
