The debut of the new Godzilla x Kong trailer revealed the new pink look of the King of the Monsters which is different than the blue atomic breath featured in Godzilla vs. Kong.
The trailer doesn’t explain things but courtesy of an official toy line now we have some answers, and thankfully, it’s not Barbzilla.

Pink upgrade
According to the Titan Evolution Godzilla commercial found below, the King of the Monsters undergoes a pink upgrade from the blue version.
The toys below show that fans can take the skin off Godzilla revealing the more powerful pink version.
“Now Godzilla has fully evolved into his most powerful form ever,” says the voice-over narration.

Toy packaging also reveals the blue atomic breath version, so apparently Godzilla will be shown as the blue atomic breath/heat ray version in the flick and then he evolves into the pink atomic breath/heat ray version for some reason.

The toy packaging also reveals the additional monsters in the movie with Kong with the B.E.A.S.T. Glove, Suko with Titanus Doug, Skar King with Whipslash, and Shimo with Frost Bite Blast.
As these are toys, whatever happens in the movie could of course be different.
