Thanks to DCU merchandise, we get our best look at Nathan Fillion’s Green Lantern ring for Superman.
Also as expected, the actor will be returning as Guy Gardner in the upcoming Lanterns TV series, joining Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as John Stewart.
Guy Gardner’s Green Lantern ring
We get a look at the Guy Gardner Green Lantern ring thanks to a listing on Game Stop, which apparently has been removed.
The ring is really nothing much to write home about, and it’s probably safe to say when it’s shown in the Superman movie it will basically look like a green glowing ring, as seen in the footage. Fillion’s goofy hair will also serve as a much bigger distraction.
Superman gets released on July 11, starring David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult.
Lanterns TV series
Regarding the Lanterns TV series, it’s currently in production. The casting announcement came about a week ago via the trades.
No plot details are known about Nathan Fillion in Lanterns. The series follows new recruit John Stewart and Lantern legend Hal Jordan, two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland.
Also set to be featured is Ulrich Thomsen as Sinestro.
That first-look image of Chandler and Pierre gave us our first-look at Hal Jordan’s ring, which sorta looks similar to Fillion’s Guy Gardner.
Lanterns is expected to premiere early in 2026 on MAX.
