Henry Cavill once again is rumored for a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Recently saw it said the former Superman actor could be playing Doctor Doom in Fantastic Four; however, that doesn’t appear to be true at all.
The latest rumor is that Henry Cavill has signed up with the MCU in a different role.
What does the rumor say?
Responding to the Doctor Doom and Fantastic Four rumor, the MyTimeToShineH Twitter account is stating, “He was offered something else and he accepted.”
When called out by a fan for posting potential BS, the Twitter account replied, “You will find that I’m not, sooner than you think.”
Update: Henry Cavill and Captain Britain are trending; however, MyTimeToShine seems to be hinting that Cavill is not playing Captain Britain but another Marvel character. See tweets below.

Previous rumors
Back in 2019 when it wasn’t certain if the Black Adam movie was going to happen, both Henry Cavill and Dwayne Johnson were rumored for the MCU.
Back then, Cavill was also managed by Johnson’s former wife and business partner, Dany Garcia (The Sun has reported the two parted ways after the DC Black Adam Superman debacle).
The rumor said that Henry Cavill is being eyed to play US Agent, with Dwayne Johnson wanting to play Namor.
Obviously we know that didn’t happen as Wyatt Russell plays the US Agent and Tenoch Huerta played Namor, but who knows, maybe that is because both Cavill and Johnson went on to do Black Adam.
So now that both of them are done with DC, rumors surface about Henry Cavill in the MCU.
Additional rumors have also offered that Henry Cavill could play Spider-UK in the MCU, which is a Multiverse version of both Captain Britain and Spider-Man set on Earth-833, so maybe that could happen in Avengers: Secret Wars.
Of course, fans also want the actor as Captain Britain, and there has even been fan-castings of Henry Cavill as Wolverine in the MCU.
