Zack Snyder is already turning to another major DC milestone.
After marking five years of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Snyder has now posted about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, sharing an image of Ben Affleck’s armored Batman on Instagram ahead of the movie’s 10-year anniversary.
Snyder wrote, “10 years ago tomorrow. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Myths made flesh.”

Zack Snyder posts Batman v Superman anniversary tribute
The image posted by Snyder features the armored Batman suit from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice along with the film’s release date, 3.25.16, placed over the red bat symbol.
It’s a simple post, but it puts the focus directly on the movie reaching its 10-year mark. Snyder’s “Myths made flesh” line also fits the tone he brought to the film, which treated Batman and Superman as larger-than-life figures instead of grounded heroes.
Ben Affleck’s armored Batman gets the spotlight
Snyder’s choice of image is notable because it centers on one of the most memorable visuals from the movie, Ben Affleck’s armored Batman.
The suit played a major role in the film’s showdown between Batman and Superman and remains one of the defining images from Snyder’s run with DC. Even years later, it is still closely tied to the movie’s darker style and its comic book-inspired approach.
Batman v Superman still gets fans talking
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice remains one of the most talked-about comic book movies of the last decade. It divided audiences when it was released, but it also built a loyal following that has continued to support Snyder’s DC films long after their theatrical runs.
Snyder’s new post shows the movie is still very much on his mind as the anniversary arrives. It also comes right after his recent Justice League anniversary posts, which have helped keep attention on his DC work over the past few days.

Zack Snyder also revisits Sucker Punch
Snyder didn’t stop with Batman v Superman. He also shared a new post for Sucker Punch, writing, “15 years ago tomorrow, Sucker Punch was released. A dream within a dream. It was never just about escape— Grateful to everyone who’s kept its spirit alive all these years.”
That post stands out as well because Snyder included Queen’s “I Want It All,” a song choice that fits the movie’s rebellious tone and cult following. The added music also gives the post a more emotional and defiant feel, which is very much in line with how Snyder’s fans continue to connect with Sucker Punch.
Between the Justice League, Batman v Superman, and now Sucker Punch anniversary posts, Snyder has been revisiting key projects from across his career over the last several days.
Another big Snyder anniversary stretch
For Snyder fans, the post serves as another reminder of how much his movies still resonate. The five-year anniversary of Zack Snyder’s Justice League brought renewed attention to that film, and now Batman v Superman is getting its own moment as it reaches 10 years.
