The full UFC White House card has finally been announced, and Dana White is loading up the June 14 event with a title fight between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje, plus a stacked six-fight lineup for what is being billed as UFC Freedom 250.
The event is set for the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C., as part of the America 250 celebration.
Topuria vs. Gaethje set for the main event
The main event will see undisputed lightweight champion Ilia Topuria take on interim champ Justin Gaethje in a title unification bout.
ESPN reported the fight was officially announced during the UFC 326 broadcast on Saturday, with Topuria returning after time away tied to personal issues, while Gaethje earned the interim belt by defeating Paddy Pimblett earlier this year.
That gives the White House show a legit blockbuster headliner. Topuria remains unbeaten and is already viewed as one of the UFC’s biggest stars, while Gaethje brings name value, violence, and the kind of all-action style that makes him perfect for a card like this.
Pereira vs. Gane adds even more star power
The co-main event is also big, as Alex Pereira will reportedly make his heavyweight debut against Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight title. That fight comes with current heavyweight champ Tom Aspinall said to be recovering from surgery, which is why an interim belt is on the line.
If Pereira wins, it only adds to his growing legend, as he would be moving closer to another massive title opportunity in yet another weight class. The UFC clearly wanted star power from top to bottom for this White House event, and Pereira vs. Gane does exactly that.

Why this event is such a big deal
This is not just another numbered UFC card. ESPN previously reported the promotion has been working closely with White House operations staff for months on logistics, and TKO CEO Ari Emanuel said the event was expected to feature only about six or seven fights. That makes sense now, as the announced lineup comes in at six bouts total.
The event is also expected to take place on the South Lawn, with ceremonial weigh-ins planned for the Lincoln Memorial. ESPN further reported there will be around 5,000 spectators on site, with tickets for the South Lawn not being sold to the public and instead expected to be comped to members of the military.
There is also a huge production angle to all of this. ESPN said Dana White has described the cost as far beyond the company’s Sphere show, and other reports have put the price tag in the tens of millions.
UFC finally delivers on the White House hype
There had been months of rumors about who would actually make the card, with names like Jon Jones and Conor McGregor constantly getting brought up.
Instead, the UFC went with a more grounded but still loaded lineup centered on champions, contenders, and proven draws.
Topuria vs. Gaethje is a real main event. Pereira vs. Gane feels big. O’Malley, Chandler, Nickal, and Lopes all bring attention.
So while some fans may have expected even crazier names, the full White House card is still one of the most unusual and high-profile fight cards the UFC has ever put together.
