A prominent Pascal fan page on X, @acervopedrito, said it would temporarily stop posting about the actor after claiming the situation appeared “hypocritical” based on Pascal’s past political activism.

The fan account posted a statement explaining its decision. The message, originally written in Portuguese, claimed Pascal was “supposedly dating a Zionist” and had also been seen dining at a restaurant that allegedly donates money to Israel.
The account argued that the situation conflicted with Pascal’s previous public support for Palestine and activism related to Middle East issues.
“As a fan page and not a cult, we don’t have the mental health to continue with the collection for now,” the post said, adding that the admins would be taking a hiatus.
Shortly after the message circulated online, the account made its profile private.
