Zack Snyder continues to thrill fans with a steady stream of never-before-seen behind-the-scenes photos from his time on the DCEU films, and his latest batch might be the most personal yet.
One image shows Henry Cavill as Superman in a dressing room, moments before donning the suit that would define his career.
Snyder revealed on Instagram that it was the very first photo he ever took of Cavill in the iconic costume.
“5 years ago, on this day, I pressed the shutter and met Superman,” Snyder wrote. “The first photo I ever took of Henry Cavill — moments before he stepped into legend. Shot on my Nikon.”
Another standout image features Jason Momoa in full Aquaman armor rocking a guitar backstage, while yet another shows Ezra Miller as The Flash standing next to a giant portrait of Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, evoking the fan-favorite Suicide Squad era.
The release follows Snyder’s recent Justice League-themed photo drops, including black-and-white shots of the Trinity—Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman—as well as his original storyboards for the scrapped sequel featuring Darkseid’s takeover and Knightmare Batman.
