Stranger Things 5 has released its full trailer, offering the most detailed look yet at the final season coming to Netflix — and this time, it starts in chaos.
Trailer Teases a High-Stakes Finale
The final season finds Hawkins under military lockdown, with Vecna unleashing new threats. The trailer confirms that the group is back together and already deep in the fight, picking up immediately after the events of Season 4.
“This season is sprinting from the start,” said Ross Duffer. “Our heroes lost last time, and now they’re in the middle of the fallout.”
Matt Duffer added that nothing in Hawkins is normal anymore. The town is under constant surveillance, and the group is confined, watched, and running out of time. Director and executive producer Shawn Levy noted that while the action and effects have scaled up, the emotional core remains with the characters.

Where the Characters Are Now
- Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is in combat mode, focused on protecting her friends.
