Insomniac Games has officially locked in a release window for Marvel’s Wolverine.
The studio posted the teaser image on social media, simply reading “Fall 2026”, with the hashtag #WolverinePS5, confirming when players will finally get to step into Logan’s claws.
“It’ll be here before you know it,” the studio added.
The official specific release date is yet to be announced.

State of Play Reveal
The announcement follows September’s State of Play showcase, which debuted the first full trailer for the upcoming PS5 exclusive. The game stunned fans with its brutal, mature-rated tone and bloody combat — a stark contrast to Insomniac’s more lighthearted Spider-Man games.
The trailer also gave a glimpse of major characters including Mystique (sparking fan backlash), Omega Red, and a towering Sentinel, while teasing multiple locations like Madripoor, Tokyo, and the Canadian wilderness.

Building Hype
The release window confirmation signals that Insomniac is deep into production, with more footage promised in Spring 2026. The studio is aiming to deliver the ultimate Wolverine experience, complete with claw-based dismemberment, berserker rage combat, and a darker story about Logan confronting his violent past.
