Following Tuesday’s season finale, it’s announced that Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is officially set to premiere in March 2026.
After a rocky start and major creative overhaul that saw Marvel retool the first season, Marvel seems confident in the new direction—already deep into production with what’s being teased as bigger, bolder, and packed with fan service.

Showrunner Confirms Season 2 for March 2026
Following the season finale, showrunner Dario Scardapane announced that Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will premiere in March 2026:
It’s all led up to this… Such a mix of emotions as we close out S1. So grateful for the cast, crew and studio for their confidence and indulgence. Biggest of thanks to Sana, Brad, Kevin, Lou, Aaron, Justin, Charlie, Vincent, Deb, Jon and the whole mad circus. And yeah, Season 2 March 2026.

Season 2 Brings a New Kind of New York
Marvel.com also spoke with producer Sana Amanat who teased Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 which has been filming:
It’s been great. We’ve been shooting a lot of crazy sequences. The crew is crushing it, and the action is nonstop. The backdrop is a little different. It’s still New York, but it’s a slightly different kind of New York.
I’m very excited about the material we’ve been getting. I’ve been fangirling all week. We shot a really big sequence with Wilson Fisk this week, and I felt like a kid in a candy shop. [Laughs]

Season 2 Builds on Season 1’s Strong Finish
Amanat continues and teases what fans liked about the final two episodes of Season 1 will continue to Season 2:
I’m very happy with the way Season 1 ended up, especially considering all of the starts and stops. Ultimately, these actors are such incredible performers. You just have to trust them, and you know they’re going to give you the material that you need. We’re all fans, and we’re trying to do things that we feel are delivering on fan expectations. The last two episodes [of Season 1] for us were really about serving the fans and ourselves. There are some fun sequences that you are going to see, especially in the last episode. And Season 2 will hopefully be even more fun.
We rated the Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 season finale a 9/10, by far the best episode of the season. All episodes are now available on Disney+. The series stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, with Jon Bernthal as The Punisher.
