Give the Disney PR person a raise who thought of this (that’s sarcasm, folks!) as days before the release of the Snow White movie, Rachel Zegler takes to social media to “pay homage” to the original 1937 animated movie and actress Adriana Caselotti.
Zegler posted images and even video of herself looking like the original Snow White on Instagram and her IG Story.
“Just had to pay homage to the original Snow White, Miss Adriana Caselotti, to whom I owe everything,” Zegler said.

She also limited the comments on her post, which currently are all positive (bots?). However, the reaction on X has been just the opposite.
Rachel Zegler actually previously said she didn’t like the original Snow White movie and that it scared her as a kid (see more below). She has even said Prince Charming is a stalker and that their new movie would be going in a different direction and wouldn’t be a love story.

What did Rachel Zegler say about Snow White?
Regarding what Rachel Zegler said about Snow White, she said Snow White isn’t going to be saved by the prince and won’t be a love story.
“The original cartoon came out in 1937, and very evidently so. There’s a big focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird! Weird! So we didn’t do that this time,” Zegler said in a previous interview.
Zegler continued, “We have a different approach to what I’m sure a lot of people will assume is a love story just because we cast a guy in the movie. All of Andrew’s scenes could get cut, who knows? It’s Hollywood, baby!
“I just mean that it’s no longer 1937,” Zegler said, before adding, “She’s not going to be dreaming about true love, she’s going to be dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be.”
