WWE: Jesse Ventura Returning For Saturday Night’s Main Event 

WWE legend and former Minnesota governor Jesse “The Body” Ventura is making his highly anticipated return to the broadcast announce table for Saturday Night’s Main Event. The exciting announcement was first revealed on The Bill Simmons Podcast last Friday.

Fans can catch Ventura live in action on Saturday, December 14, at 8/7c on NBC, as he takes his place ringside to call the action for a stacked card (see blow). Ventura responded on social media, stating:

“It’s an honor to be back. Thank you @TripleH for making the impossible possible. Looking forward to entertaining all my old wrestling fans and making brand new ones.”

He added in another tweet:

“I’m so excited for Saturday Night’s Main Event this week! Can’t wait to dust off some of the old 1980’s wardrobe…”

Triple H, WWE’s Chief Content Officer, also welcomed Ventura back:

“Nobody reps Saturday Night’s Main Event like ‘The Governor.’ Welcome home, Jesse.”
