The Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul match happened to be such a major disappointment, that fans have gone online to state that the fight was rigged.
TikTok and X have been flooded with videos claiming the fight is rigged.
Among the claims includes that Mike Tyson’s contract has him only getting fully paid out if the fight goes the distance. The Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul went the full eight rounds. It’s claimed that if Tyson would have KO’d Paul in the first round, Tyson wouldn’t have gotten paid out the full $20 million.
I’ve seen it said by TikTokers that the contract had it written that Tyson wasn’t allowed to give Paul uppercuts. Many fans think Tyson pulled his punches, especially in the first two rounds.

While watching the fight, I also thought Jake Paul could have taken out Mike Tyson in the later rounds any time he wanted; however, does that mean the fight was rigged? Or did the 27-year-old Paul not want to KO the much older 58-year-old Tyson out of respect? Or was it something else?
TikTok and X users point to video footage from the event where it seems Tyson could have easily KO’d Paul. They also point to footage of Tyson training for the event, where he looks more like his nickname suggests, “the Baddest Man on the Planet” rather than how Tyson was in the fight, the oldest man on the planet.

There are even theories the fight was rigged because of some sort of Illuminati ritual.
Recall the bizarre footage before the fight where they showed Mike Tyson’s butt cheeks. Well, the Tyson vs Paul fight happened to land on a night of the full moon, a supermoon, known as the Beaver Moon. Headlines even referred to the incident as “an accidental full moon.”
Another theory claims the fight was a Freemason ritual giving tribute to the 3rd degree. It’s claimed that both Mike Tyson and Jake Paul replicated the initiation in the ring.
Jake Paul bowed to Mike Tyson near the end of the match, with still seconds on the clock. That was a nice sign of respect. pic.twitter.com/xmO0uDKqW5

Another claim is that all sports is rigged under the Illuminati using Gematria. It’s claimed the showing of the Gatorade “G” logo was also a part of the full moon ritual, as Masonic lodges use the letter “G” in their symbols, reportedly meaning gnosis.
This is when you knew the fight was decided, the Mike Tyson full moon on the date of the full moon. And in light of the Masonic Rites and rituals that dominate the world of entertainment, you know the Big G in the shot was part of the show. #Gematria pic.twitter.com/NVZkLVNuuS

Mike Tyson's next round in the boxing ring is 216, and Jake Paul is from Cleveland, the (216) area code. How many more tributes do we need to Grover? Go figure, today is 138 days after Mike Tyson's birthday.

What did Jake Paul’s camp say about the Tyson fight being rigged?
So as claims the Tyson vs Paul fight has been rigged have been going viral online, Jake Paul’s people responded, of course, denying the allegation. Via LAD Bible:
Rigging a professional boxing match is a federal crime in the United States of America. Paul vs. Tyson was a professional match sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR).
Both fighters in good faith performed to the best of their abilities with the goal of winning the fight. There were absolutely no restrictions – contractual or otherwise – around either fighter.
Each boxer was able to use his full arsenal to win the fight. Any agreement to the contrary would violate TDLR boxing rules.
Suggesting anything other than full effort from these fighters is not only naĂŻve but an insult to the work they put into their craft and to the sport itself.
It is further illogical and inane that MVP, in the debut of a hopeful long-term partnership with the world’s biggest streamer—an organization that made its first-ever foray into live professional sports with Paul vs. Tyson—would even so much as consider such a perverse violation of the rules of competition.
Also as noted, Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of MVP alongside Jake Paul, addressed last week’s accusations of fight ‘rigging,’ stating:
This is not the first time Jake Paul has faced unfounded skepticism or outright disbelief as a professional athlete, and frankly, the claim that his bout must have been rigged is just the latest backhanded compliment to come his way.
From day one in this sport, people have doubted his abilities—unable to reconcile how someone with his background has accomplished so much in such a short time.
Jake has not only proven himself repeatedly, but he has continuously set historic records that speak for themselves.
“This event, which broke attendance and viewership milestones for a professional sporting event, is yet another example of his ability to deliver on the biggest stage.
As long as Jake continues to exceed expectations, there will always be those who try to discredit his achievements. We embrace the doubt—it only fuels Jake to work harder and achieve greater success.
