The details for the “Creature Commandos – Making of Session” event include an in-depth look will be presented by supervising producer Rick Morales and supervising director Balak Yves into the artistry and creative processes behind this highly anticipated series kicking off a new era of storytelling in the DC Universe.

The updated synopsis from the official announcement offers the series “follows Amanda Waller as she forms a black ops team out of monstrous prisoners.”

DCU 'Creatures Commandos' Reveals Full Cast

Starring in Creature Commandos includes Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., the father of Joel Kinnaman’s Rick Flag, Jr. who Gunn also recently announced to be starring as the live-action version in Peacemaker Season 2; David Harbour is playing Eric Frankenstein a version of the classic monster, and Indira Varma is the Bride, a version of Frankenstein’s love interest.

Gunn also previously announced Alan Tudyk is playing Dr. Phosphorous, a radioactive Batman villain; Maria Bakalova is Princess Ilana Rostovic, a new character for the show; Sean Gunn is playing both GI Robot, a military android, and Weasel from The Suicide Squad; Zoe Chao voices Nina Mazursky, an amphibious scientist, and Steve Agee is returning as John Economos from Gunn’s The Suicide Squad and the recent post-credit scene in Shazam: Fury of the Gods, with The Witcher‘s Anya Chalotra as Circe.
