Red Hulk, smash!
It’s long been thought Harrison Ford is suiting up as the Red Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World, and if the following merchandise is to hold true, that is actually what is happening.
An image has surfaced on social media of toys for McDonalds in foreign countries, which happens to feature a Red Hulk toy.
“The McDonalds collection for CAPTAIN AMERICA: A BRAVE NEW WORLD will be available soon,” says the translated description.
Worth a mention is that originally Captain America 4 was to be released on May 3 but has been pushed back until next year, so more than likely the merchandise and promotions involved were already set.
Update: Another image has hit the net said to be from a movie theater standee but its authenticity is in question. It could be fake or it could be based on concept art, but it doesn’t really look like Harrison Ford at all. That said, Marvel has had issues with its CGI and special effects, particularly with She-Hulk and MODOK, so hopefully they can get Red Hulk right. See below.
Update #2: A McDonalds poster shows off new Falcon.
Update #3: More Red Hulk art has hit the net.

O filme, que inicialmente tinha a data de estreia para as próximas semanas, foi adiado para o próximo ano. (E pelo visto, não tinham como mudar mais o calendário de coleções). pic.twitter.com/v7hJY8akwp

Is Harrison Ford playing Red Hulk?
It’s known Harrison Ford is playing Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, and in the comics, the character becomes the Red Hulk, so it seems likely.
Leaks and rumors have said as much, with one description stating: “The former Lieutenant General of the United States Army and Secretary of State, now President of the United States, using radiation siphoned, transformed Ross into the Red Hulk.”
While interviewing Harrison Ford about 1923, The Playlist happened to ask how he decided to take on the Marvel role.
“Hey, look, I’ve done a lot of things. I now want to do some of the things I haven’t done,” Ford replied.
The article also mentioned that one of those things he hasn’t done is motion capture, and questioned Ford if he is going to be putting on a grey motion capture suit.
The article says that Ford “simply smiled and replied with a ‘zipped-lips’ sign,” which as noted, sounds like a confirmation.
Captain America: Brave New World gets released on February 14, 2025 and also stars Anthony Mackie, Carl Lumbly, Danny Ramirez and Tim Blake Nelson.
