Call of Duty is teasing something big, and it now looks like South Korea is the setting.
The official Call of Duty YouTube channel is running a live feed titled “카메라 004 | LIVE,” which translates from Korean to “Camera 004 | LIVE.”
The feed shows what appears to be a city under attack, with fires, explosions, and the sound of war playing in the background.
Call of Duty also wiped its Instagram page, leaving only one post for its 12 million followers. The post simply says, “Signal Lost,” and directs fans to the YouTube feed. The official website also shows similar.

Call of Duty Goes Dark On Instagram
The official Call of Duty Instagram page now shows only one post, with the rest of the account wiped clean.
The remaining post features a distorted black-and-white image with the words “Signal Lost,” matching the glitchy surveillance-style marketing seen in the YouTube live feed.
It’s the kind of stunt Call of Duty has used before ahead of a major reveal, but this one stands out because of the Korean text and the South Korean imagery.

South Korea Looks Confirmed
The wording seen on the live feed is Korean, not Japanese.
“카메라 004” translates to “Camera 004.”
The word “카메라” is the Korean spelling of “camera,” while “004” appears to be the camera number. In the footage, the upper-left corner also shows “카메라 4,” meaning “Camera 4.”
The YouTube thumbnail also shows the city before the attack, with Korean signs visible throughout the street.
One large sign appears to advertise seafood, while other storefronts and neon signs are clearly written in Korean.
So while Call of Duty has not officially announced the location yet, the tease is pointing heavily to South Korea.

The Live Feed Shows The City Before And After
The thumbnail shows a Korean city street before things go bad. The area is lit up with storefronts, signs, and neon lights, making it look like a normal night in a South Korean district.
The live feed (watch below) then shows the same kind of area after the attack, with fires burning through the street and explosions lighting up the skyline.
The setup makes it look like fans are watching through a hacked or damaged surveillance system, with “Camera 004” showing one part of the larger event.
Is This A New Modern Warfare?
Fans are already wondering if this is the first tease for a new Modern Warfare game.
The South Korea setting, surveillance-camera presentation, live military-style feed, and “Signal Lost” messaging all feel more in line with Modern Warfare than the more stylized Black Ops side of Call of Duty.
Nothing has been confirmed, so for now it’s only speculation. But if Call of Duty is setting up a modern global conflict, a South Korean warzone would make sense for the next Modern Warfare reveal.
It could also be tied to Warzone, a live event, or a larger Call of Duty reveal that brings multiple modes together.

Update: Users on Reddit are also claiming it’s for a new Modern Warfare game and that the cover art has leaked, which is blurry and shows what looks to be three soldiers on the cover.
A cinematic video said to be from the livestream also shows soldiers walking through the market, a screenshot from above. The city then goes dark, and there’s an explosion. North Korea looks to be involved as well.
Jack O’Hara, studio head at Infinity Ward, also recently confirmed, “We’re making the definitive Modern Warfare.”

Call of Duty Fans Start Speculating
Fans are already picking apart every frame, with many pointing to the Korean text and city setting as proof the next Call of Duty reveal is tied to Korea.
For now, all Call of Duty is giving fans is a broken signal, a Korean camera feed, and a city going up in flames.
More looks to be on the way.
