Vision Quest First Look Revealed With Robert Downey Jr., Tom Hiddleston, Paul Bettany At Disney Upfronts

Marvel Studios revealed a first look at Vision Quest during Disney’s Upfronts presentation, with Robert Downey Jr., Tom Hiddleston, and Paul Bettany taking the stage to tease the next Marvel Television series coming to Disney+.

Vision Quest premieres October 14, 2026, on Disney+.

The series continues the story of White Vision after the events of WandaVision, with Paul Bettany back as Vision and James Spader returning as Ultron.

Vision Quest teaser shown at Disney Upfronts

Marvel showed footage from Vision Quest during the presentation.

The teaser features Bettany in human form, watching Vision’s memories play out like a film. The setup follows White Vision after WandaVision, where he flew away after having Vision’s memories restored.

The issue is that White Vision has the memories but did not actually live them. Now he is trying to understand who he is and whether he can reclaim the humanity and emotions that defined the original Vision.

Ultron is also back, once again voiced by James Spader. The teaser shows Spader appearing in human form as well, with Ultron there to help Vision while also taunting him.

Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Hiddleston help Marvel tease the series

Marvel Studios shared photos from the Upfronts presentation showing Robert Downey Jr., Tom Hiddleston, and Paul Bettany on stage in front of the Vision Quest logo.

One image also shows a first-look shot from the series, featuring a mysterious man in a dark coat and hat standing outside a large mansion.

Downey and Hiddleston appearing alongside Bettany also gave the reveal more weight, especially with Vision Quest tied so closely to Marvel’s AI history, Tony Stark, J.A.R.V.I.S., Ultron, and the larger MCU timeline.

Vision Quest wraps up the WandaVision trilogy

Marvel previously revealed more details about Vision Quest at New York Comic Con, where Bettany surprised fans on stage.

The series is described as the final part of the WandaVision trilogy, which began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along.

Vision Quest follows White Vision as he tries to reconnect with his memories and understand his humanity after WandaVision.

Bettany previously said, “White Vision’s journey is about trying to understand who he was and reconnect with those memories—but with lasers.”

Vision Quest cast includes Ultron, J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., and E.D.I.T.H.

Paul Bettany returns as Vision, with James Spader back as Ultron.

The cast also includes James D’Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., and Ruaridh Mollica as Thomas Shepherd.

Terry Matalas, known for Star Trek: Picard, serves as showrunner.
