Zack Snyder Spotlights Henry Cavill’s Superman and Ben Affleck’s Batman

Zack Snyder is once again giving fans something to talk about with a pair of new posts featuring Henry Cavill’s Superman and Ben Affleck’s Batman.

Snyder first shared an image of Cavill from Man of Steel in the diner scene with the bully and added the caption, “Oops. You f#ked up.”

He then followed it by reposting a striking image of Ben Affleck as Batman from DT Collectibles and praising it as “straight up badass.”

Zack Snyder revisits Henry Cavill’s Superman

The first post focused on one of the more memorable Clark Kent moments from Man of Steel, when Cavill’s character faces off with the trucker in the diner.

By captioning the image with “Oops. You f#ked up,” Snyder leaned into the scene’s attitude and reminded fans of the tougher edge that defined his take on Superman.

It is a simple post, but it brings attention back to a fan-favorite moment where Clark keeps his cool while making clear the bully picked the wrong guy.

Ben Affleck’s Batman also gets the spotlight

Snyder then turned to Batman, sharing a dramatic image of Ben Affleck from DT Collectibles.

“Saw this on DT Collectibles and had to share — this is straight up badass,” Snyder wrote. “Batman at his most intense. The detail, the mood, the presence… unreal. This is why he’s the Dark Knight.”

The post puts the focus on Affleck’s version of Batman, which remains one of the most talked-about characters from Snyder’s DC films. Rather than using an old still, Snyder shared a collectible image that leans fully into the darker, more intense side of the character.

DT Collectibles praised the image as well

DT Collectibles had posted the Batman image a few days earlier with its own caption celebrating the staying power of the character and the movie era tied to Snyder’s DC work.

That lines up with the recent run of Snyder posts revisiting key moments and characters from his superhero films, as fans continue to keep those movies in the conversation years later.

Snyder keeps the focus on Superman and Batman

By posting both Cavill’s Superman and Affleck’s Batman on the same day, Snyder once again put the spotlight on the two heroes who helped define his DC run.

Between the diner scene callback from Man of Steel and the intense Batman image from DT Collectibles, Snyder gave fans another reminder of why his versions of Superman and Batman still resonate.
