With Batman Vs. Superman now in theaters, Zack Snyder turns his attention to the Justice League movie, which starts filming April 11th in the UK.
Justice League will feature Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Â Ray Fisher as Cyborg, and Amy Adams will be back as Lois Lane.
Snyder recently talked with Yahoo about Justice League, comparing it to the 1954 film Seven Samurai that features seven masterless Samurai coming together to defend a village of farmers.
âIâm getting ready to start âJustice Leagueâ on the 11th of April, so in like two weeks we start shooting,â Synder told Yahoo Movies. âItâs an intense, awesome, and gigantic undertaking because Bruce [Wayne] is having to go out and sort of âSeven Samuraiâ the Justice League together, which is fun.
âItâs slightly monumental,â added Snyder, âand at the same time theyâre starting to grapple with this coming threat.â
Regarding that âcoming threat,â itâs assumed Darkseid may be the big villain, but not before members of the Justice League apparently battle it out with Aquaman.
Justice League has a November 17, 2017 release.
