More good news for the Wonder Woman movie as it’s being described as “pretty f’n awesome!”

Following news of Wonder Woman 2 being likely, the movie being the most anticipated film of the Summer, having a higher than anticipated opening, and positive advanced reviews, now a Redditor has seen an early screening of Wonder Woman and was more than happy about the flick!

NightGod offers:

I caught a screener presentation of Wonder Woman tonight at the Cinemark West Plano in Plano, TX. I’ve been a fan of the character since the days when Lynda Carter was my first celebrity crush. Other kids had Heather and Christie posters on their walls, I had…well, I had those, but I also had Lynda Carter reminding me why I loved America. I credit her as the genesis of my lifelong love of strong Latinas.

Anyway…I went in with mixed expectations. High because of the awesomeness that was Gal Gadot in Batman vs Superman and low, well, because of everything else that was Batman vs Superman.

In a single sentence: It was pretty f—ing awesome.

The comedy was on-point (and very welcome!). The pacing was solid, the action was fast and enjoyable.

There was a time or two that the action scene imagery felt a bit excessive, but, really, that’s mostly me looking for something negative to say.

Honestly, if this is a sign of things to come for the DCEU, we’re in for some amazing movies after that rocky start. I’d happily put this movie up against any of the Marvel flicks, something I definitely couldn’t say about any of the earlier DC movies.

“Wonder Woman” has a June 2, 2017 release directed by Patty Jenkins starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, and Saïd Taghmaoui .

Synopsis:

Wonder Woman hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
