The What if… Season 2 schedule has been made known as well as the tentative release date.
Previously it was said the series would return around Christmas time this year, with the episode titles also revealed.
Now it is known What If…? Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ sometime between December 22-30. Update: It is confirmed Dec. 22.
Here are the episode titles in order of release:

- Episode 206: What If… The Avengers Assembled in 1602?
- Episode 207: What If… Hela found the Ten Rings?
- Episode 208: What If… Kahhori Reshaped the World?

What is What If…? Season 2 about?
The series is officially described by Marvel as “What If…?” flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways. Marvel Studios’ first animated series focuses on different heroes from the MCU, featuring a voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their roles.
It’s known Jeffrey Wright returns as The Watcher for Season 2.
Details known about the episodes include Marvel.com officially announcing Episode 3 is about Kahhori, a new character that will ensure cultural authenticity. It’s a what if the Tesseract (Space Stone) fell to Earth and landed in the sovereign Haudenosaunee Confederacy before the colonization of America. “The Tesseract takes on a new life and a new mythology, transforming a lake into a gateway to the stars and leading Kahhori, a young Mohawk woman, on a quest to discover her power,” states Marvel.
Some of the others are self-explanatory, and Episode 206 looks to be in part based on the comics of the same name where the Marvel Universe is reimagined in the year 1602: The year is 1602, and strange things are stirring in England. In the service of Queen Elizabeth, court magician Dr. Stephen Strange senses that the bizarre weather plaguing the skies above is not of natural origin. Her majesty’s premier spy, Sir Nicholas Fury, fends off an assassination attempt on the Queen by winged warriors rumored to be in service to a mad despot named Doom. News is spreading of witchbreed sightings – young men bearing fantastic superhuman powers and abilities. And in the center of the rising chaos is Virginia Dare, a young girl newly arrived from the New World, guarded by a towering Indian warrior. Can Fury and his allies find a connection to these unusual happenings before the whole world ends?
