Watch a deleted scene from Guardians of the Galaxy 2 that references the war between Ronan and Xandar fom the first movie.
Missing from Guardians of the Galaxy 2 happened to be the Nova Corps, but in the following deleted scene Ego creates a statue of Star-Lord to commemoriate how he “single-handledly” save Xandar and the universe in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
Gamora isn’t too thrilled by what she sees and explains to Drax the dead guy is actually Ronan.
If I had to guess why the scene was deleted it would be because it shows Gamora suspicious of Ego.
The Guardians of the Galaxy 2 gag reel is online in addition to six Blu-Ray extras and the David Hasselhoff music video.
