Warner Bros. in Talks to License DC Rides to Universal

Warner Bros. in Talks to License DC Rides to Universal

Bloomberg reports that Warner Bros. Discovery is exploring a major expansion for DC, with the company now in talks to license its superheroes for new theme-park rides to Comcast’s Universal resorts division.

That means Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and more could end up headlining new attractions outside of Six Flags for the first time in decades.

And this lines up exactly with what our insiders just said about Saudi Arabia’s entertainment push, which includes restoring the SnyderVerse.

What’s particularly interesting is that if the deal happens before the WBD sale, it would contractually carry over to whoever buys WBD, as the new owner acquires all the contracts, licensing agreements, etc.

Recent reports name Netflix and Paramount as the frontrunners to buy WBD. With Comcast looking like it’s out of the race, WBD may be moving to lock in the Universal deal before any sale goes through.

DC Heads to Universal? The Bloomberg Report

According to Bloomberg, Warner Bros. Discovery is in talks with Universal to license its DC characters for new theme-park rides.

Universal is already one of the largest theme-park brands on the planet. Adding DC would give it another powerhouse franchise alongside Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, and its Universal Monsters library.

The move also arrives as WBD is trying to restructure the company, cut debt, and increase revenue ahead of a potential sale.

How This Fits Insider Info About Saudi Deals

Our insiders recently told us that Hollywood studios — including people tied to Donald Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner — are signing massive new agreements with Saudi Arabia. The Saudis want major franchises and top-tier entertainment assets as part of their Vision 2030 transformation.

They also want a big theme-park IP in Saudi Arabia. They want global brands. And they want entire universes.

The Saudi Plan: A Universal + Warner Mega-Park

According to our source, the kingdom’s goal is to build a massive Universal/Warner hybrid park. That means DC, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Universal Monsters, and even The Lord of the Rings — all under one giant entertainment banner.

Saudi Arabia wants a theme-park lineup on the scale of Disney, and an integrated Warner/Universal setup is exactly that.

What Comes Next

If WBD moves forward, DC rides could debut at Universal parks worldwide. It would also mark a major shift in how Warner Bros. handles its theme-park rights, signaling a broader strategic reset as acquisition talks continue.

And if the Saudis secure WBD via either Paramount or Comcast? Expect the biggest entertainment land-grab in modern history.
