Earlier tonight saw The Walking Dead Season 5 season finale air, which is actually drawing mixed reactions on social networks.
Some fans absolutley loved it, while others felt it came up short (and some are even complaining that none of the regulars died!).
Following the episode, on Chris Hardwick’s Talking Dead, a Walking Dead Season 6 teaser note from showrunner Scott Gimple was read out loud.
Check it out:
“Season 6 for a good while now, humans have been the bigger threat. At the start of our next season, that will change. I said the show reinvents itself every 8 eps, and we’re doing it again, friendos. Now that these characters know they have what it takes to survive, what are they going to do with that power? How will they choose to live? Beyond answering those questions, we’re currently putting into motion some of our most ambitious stuff yet, and things are going to get very big, loud and scary.”
As we all know, “The Walking Dead” has been said to refer to the humans, but per Gimple’s remarks above, maybe the show is going back to its roots with more zombies?
We’ll have to wait until next Fall to find out as The Walking Dead Season 6 returns in October.
