'The Continental' Shows Off 'John Wick' Prequel Teaser

The Peacock streaming service has shown off the first teaser for The Continental, the John Wick prequel series starring Colin Woodell as the young Winston Scott played by Ian McShane in the film franchise starring Keanu Reeves.

The three-part event will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, as he’s dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970’s New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne.

The Continental: From the World of John Wick debuts in September and also stars Mel Gibson as Cormac, Mishel Prada as KD, Ben Robson as Frankie, Hubert Point-Du Jour as Miles, Nhung Kate as Yen, Jessica Allain as Lou, Ayomide Adegun as Charon who was played by the late Lance Reddick in the movies, Jeremy Bobb as Mayhew, and Peter Greene as Uncle Charlie.

Peacock debuted the trailer with the music of Donna Summer, while Rotten Tomatoes has the footage set to Frank Sinatra. Watch below.

The three episodes are titled “Brothers In Arms,” “Loyalty to the Master,” and “Theatre of Pain.”

John Wick: Chapter 4 was just released and has made nearly $300 million in three weeks of release.
