TNT’s Titans Characters & Info Revealed

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18976:]]

WB and TNT are bringing the Teen Titans to TV with the live-action series, Titans.

Now the Nerdist is claiming the following information based on a pilot script:

Dick Grayson

It’s said in the current draft of the script, Dick Grayson is still using his Robin identity, but will eventually become Nightwing. It’s said he is dealing with his Batman breakup by serving as a private detective in Boston.

Barbara Gordon

Aka Batgirl; it’s said she will be wheelchair bound, but will not be going by Oracle. The current script makes her the team’s resident computer hacker.

Hank Hall and Dawn Granger

Aka Hawk and Dove; it’s said their relationship is romantic one and to expect them to be quite different than their comic book counterparts.

Rachel Roth

Aka Raven; will be the character from Geoff Johns’ early 2000’s comics.

Starfire

Said to appear, along with Raven, at the very end of the pilot episode, but expect her to become a major part of the team. It’s also said to expect a love triangle, with Dick Grayson speculated and Barbara Gordon.

It’s said Cyborg and Beast Boy don’t show up in the pilot, but it’s said there is room to eventually include them.

It’s also said that since TNT and the CW are owned by the same company, Titans could be in the same universe as Arrow and The Flash, which would mean Batman exists in The Flash and Arrow universe as well.

Stephen Amell Wants To Punch This Guy In The Face

Fans of Green Arrow and Hawkeye should get a kick out of the video above.

It features Danish Archer Lars Andersen performing various stunts with a bow and arrow.

Andersen also schools on the proper technique how to shoot the bow and arrow, which is unlike how Hollywood does it (same goes for real martial arts).

Andersen holds the arrows in-hand and shoots on the same side of the bow, while Hollywood uses a quiver and shoots from the opposite side.

Anderson is actually capable of shooting three bows using the technique in under a second. It’s actually incredible.

Arrow himself, Stephen Amell, has seen the video, and from judging from his Facebook post, multiple times.

“Everyone can stop sending me the video of that Danish archer,” Amell posted. “Is it impressive? Sure. Would he be as accurate if I punched him really hard in the mouth. I say no.”

Obviously, Amell doesn’t really want to punch the guy in the face, but we get the picture.

Here is an image of Lars Andersen holding the arrow on the right side (as he is right-handed).

Below, how does Stephen Amell hold it? And Jeremy Renner (left-handed)?

For more about Lars Andersen, check out the YouTube post.

A fan has taken it one step futher by creating Arrow Star Wars videos.

Dave Jones is back with the above and added on his YouTube channel:

This is the final installment of my Arrow Jedi trilogy. For this one, I added lightsabers to two battle sequences from the Arrow Season 3 mid-season finale. The first features Ra’s al Ghul against eight lightsaber-wielding members of the League of Assassins. The second is the epic battle between Oliver Queen and Ra’s al Ghul on the mountaintop. As always, there are plenty of Star Wars easter eggs.

No Lazarus Pit For Oliver Queen In Arrow

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18792:]]

The mid-season finale of Arrow saw Oliver Queen seemingly killed off at the hands of Ra’s al Ghul and then fall off a cliff.

It’s been speculated that Oliver Queen may return with the help of the Lazarus Pit, which is Ra’a al Ghul’s restorative chemical pool.

Stephen Amell even teased the Lazarus Pit on his Facebook page by teasing Arrow fan art (above).

However, now it’s learned the Lazarus Pit won’t be responsible for bringing Oliver Queen back.

While speaking with the Collider, Amell rules out the Lazarus Pit.

“We just saw him fall.  We’ve seen Oliver survive,” Amell responded when asked what it would take for Oliver to have survived. “So, [we don’t know] whether he went straight off the cliff, whether something broke his fall, whether he hit the ground.  We have mystical herbs on the show that have healing powers.  We’ve seen a Lazarus Pit, although that’s not something that’s going to be used for Oliver.  I hope he survives.  I like playing him.”

Arrow returns this week, Wednesday, January 21st at 8pm ET on the CW.
